How we work

How we develop and review your plans.

Some projects arrive as a hand sketch. Others come with a rendering, a partial set or drawings ready for a second look. We agree on the work needed from there.

Understanding the project

We begin with the location, intended use, approximate size and the information already available. For plan development, sketches and renderings help establish the direction. For review, the existing plan set and any agency comments define the starting point.

Setting the scope

Before starting, we confirm the drawing package or review coverage, expected deliverables, pricing and schedule. We also identify missing information and work that needs an owner, surveyor, engineer or other project professional.

Preparing and coordinating the drawings

For plan development, we build the agreed package and resolve questions as it takes shape. Changes are carried through the affected plans, details and schedules so they continue to describe the same project.

Reviewing the work

PREiQ helps us check the drawings for code and coordination issues. Findings are assessed against the documents and available source material. We address corrections within our scope and flag decisions or outside inputs that remain open.

Delivery and submission

We deliver the agreed documents with their status and remaining requirements identified. The project team completes any required professional approvals and submits to the authority having jurisdiction. Application handling and later agency-response work are confirmed separately in the proposal.

Starting with an existing set? PREiQ Plan Review can be commissioned on its own. You do not need to purchase plan development to use it.
